World Nature Conservation Day is celebrated on 28 July to raise awareness about the significance of natural resources and encourage people about the practices of protecting natural resources. World Nature Conservation Day recognizes that a healthy environment is a foundation for a stable and productive society and to ensure the well-being of present and future generations, we all must participate to protect, conserve, and sustainably manage our natural resources.

On this day, to encourage children to protect & conserve natural resources, Children’s Film Society, India (CFSI) organised multiple screenings of its children film ‘KASHMIRA directed by Sukhdev Ahkluwalia for infotainment of children in association with various NGOs across India.
