International Day for Persons with Disabilities was observed by CFSI, to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrate their achievements and contributions.
In an endeavour to bring smile on special children, CFSI’s best films viz. Keshu, Hum Bhi Kuch Kum Nahi, Choo Lenge Akash, Malli encouraging children to triumph over disabilities were screened in several special schools to motivate the special children.
The shows were conducted in multiple cities namely Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Gaya, Nashik, Palghar, Ahmendnagar, Chittor, Ananthapur, Kadapa, Mysore, Malappuram, Ernakulam.
Walking on the CFSI’s motto ‘Every Child’s Right to Entertainment’, efforts were taken to entertain visually impaired children by screening CFSI’s audio-described films namely Karamati Coat, Kabhi Pass Kabhi Fail, Chutkan Ki Mahabharat in special schools/institutes.
