Good News!!!

Children’s Film Society, India (CFSI) has been bestowed with Swachhta Pakhwada Awards 2019 by Swachhta Committee, constituted by the Ministry of I&B for evaluating the performance of all the Media Units/ organizations of M/o I&B.

The Award was given by Shri Amit Khare, Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting on 23rd April, 2019 in New Delhi.

During this Swachhta Pakhwada, CFSI had organized screening of Swachchta films, made by students of age group of 7-17 years (Little Directors) to create awareness about cleanliness and hygiene. The screenings were conducted in Municipal / Govt. schools by CFSI offices situated at Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi during 16th to 31st January 2019. Screenings were also held at “Observation & Children’s Home” at Umerkhadi & Mankhurd, Mumbai, home for destitute, delinquent and victimized children, these children also enjoyed the screenings.

Also motivational activities like Slogans on cleanliness, Essay writing, Drawing competition and Swachhta Rally, within school premises with Swachhta placards were conducted during this shows.
