World Olympic Day is celebrated across the world on June 23 every year to mark the importance of games and sports in our lives and to promote participation in games and sports across the world.

On this day, Children’s Film Society India (CFSI) organised screenings of its children film ‘THE GOAL’ starring versatile actor late Irrfan khan directed by Gul Bahar Singh for entertainment of children, in association with various NGOs across India.

On the Birth Anniversary of legendary actor Amrish Puri, Children’s Film Society, India (CFSI) organised multiple screenings of its children film ‘EK AJOOBA’ directed by Sunil Advani, starring versatile actor Amrish Puri for entertainment of children at various NGOs across India.

‘World Music Day’ on 21st June is celebrated in most of the nations of the world by people of all ages, especially by teenagers. A world without music would have no meaning at all to many, as it gives flight to the imagination and life to everything.

On this day, Children’s Film Society, India (CFSI) screened animation film ‘GOOPI GAWAIIYA BAGHA BAJAIIYA’ directed by Shilpa Ranade for musical entertainment of children at various NGOs in India.

On International Day of Yoga 2021, to inculcate the importance of yoga and to encourage children to practice yoga, Children’s Film Society, India (CFSI) conducted special screening of Films Division’s documentary films – Health is Wealth and Yoga for Health followed by screening of CFSI children film ‘Bhago Bhoot’ for entertainment of children at various location pan India in association with NGOs.

Father’s Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June, this year it falls on June 20, 2021. It aims to recognize the contribution that fathers and father figures make to the lives of their children.

To acknowledge this precious and unconditional bond, Children’s Film Society, India (CFSI) celebrated ‘Father’s Day’ by screening its children film ‘KAPHAL’ directed by Batul Mukhtiar for infotainment of children at various NGOs across India.

Pandurang Sadashiv Sane, also known as Sane Guruji by his students and followers, was a Marathi author, teacher, social activist and freedom fighter from Maharashtra, India.

To pay tribute to Sane Guruji, a renowned social reformer and freedom fighter on his Death Anniversary on 11th June, Children’s Film Society, India conducted screenings its children film ‘SENANI SANE GURUJI’ directed by Ramesh Deofor infotainment of children at various NGOs across India.

Children’s Film Society, India in collaboration with Bharat Scouts & Guides Association, Sirmaur District, Himachal Pradesh organized PINK WAVE, a Online Children Film Festival from 30th May to 1st June 2021 for entertainment of children during COVID19.

CFSI’s popular films viz. Pappu Ki Pugdandi, Kaphal, Chutkan Ki Mahabharat, Happy Mother’s Day, Maa..aa..aa and Ballu Shah were screened online during this children film festival.

REIMAGINE. RECREATE. RESTORE – Key words for celebrations of World Environment Day 2021.

The World Environment Day is being observed on 5th June, 2021 with the theme of ecosystem restoration, which aims to prevent, halt and reverse the degradation of ecosystems on every continent and in every ocean.

Contributing with the same spirit, Children’s Film Society, India, in association with various NGOs across India conducted screening of its children film ‘TARU’ directed by father of Indian animation Ram Mohan along with Films Division’s Online Film Festival ‘OASIS OF HOPE’ on environment.

On 3rd June 2021, World Bicycle Day celebrates the uniqueness, longevity and versatility of the bicycle and promotes it as a simple, sustainable, reliable, fun and affordable means of transportation.

On this day, Children’s Film Society, India conducted screenings of Parvati Menon directed CFSI’s children film ‘TRIYATRI’  for entertainment of children at various NGOs across India, to lay emphasis on the benefits of cycling as riding a bicycle is not only good for one’s health but is also good for the environment.

Children’s Film Society, India (CFSI) celebrated ‘Buddha Purnima’ on 26th May by organizing multiple screenings of its short animation children film ‘KARUNA KI VIJAY’ directed by Kewaldas Bansod.  The film is based on the teachings of Gautam Buddha was screened for infotainment of children in association with various NGOs/Organisations across India.

Astronomy Day’ is celebrated on 15th May, a way for astronomy enthusiasts and professionals to share their knowledge and love of outer space. It is also a way for everyone interested in space to explore their passion and increase their knowledge in astronomy.
