Director's Biography
Kedar Sharma

Born 1910 in Amritsar, Kedar Sharma's plans to graduate in English and teach in his own college changed dramatically when he happened to see D.K.Bose's "Purana Bhagat". He ran away to Calcutta in stead, to pursuer a career in films. D.K. Bose gave him his first job as a painter in New Theater Studio. Studiohead B.N.Sircar provided him the opportunity to pen the dialogue and lyrics of "Devdass", now a film classic with that, Kedar Sharma was established. He soon turned director-producer making renowned films among them "Neel Kamal" starring unknowns Raj Kapoor and Madhubala. Kedar Sharma has discovered and groomed many actors who are now famous names. He has made many films for children.

Synopsis

Jawaharlal Nehru, who had a special love for children, talks to them in this film.
