1. CFSI has a variety of feature films, shorts, puppets,
animations and TV serials available for acquisition in the
35mm, 16mm, video and CD formats. A list of feature films
divided in to 3 categories viz. A,B&C according to their
merits is enclosed.
2. A programme of about 90-100 minutes consisting of one
feature film and a short film can be made available in 35mm
size for theatre shows or in 16mm size for school hall shows.
3. The film rentals mentioned in the schedule are for non-commercial
shows or for commercial shows where nominal ticket rates are
charged not exceeding Rs.5/- for theatrical shows or Rs.3/-
for non-theatrical 16mm shows. For single shows, if the ticket
rates exceed the above limits the borrower will have to pay
40% of the gross collection subject to a minimum hire as per
the schedule. The minimum rentals along with a security deposit
will have to be paid in advance. For hiring films on monthly
rentals with ticket rates exceeding the above-prescribed limits,
pro-rata rentals will be charged from the borrowers.

4. A film borrower desiring to arrange a single show will
have to deposit an amount of Rs.2,000/- as interest free
security deposit for each 35mm print. The security deposit
for 16mm print would be Rs.1,000/-. The deposit will be
refunded on request after returning the print without any
damages above normal wear and tear, settlement of accounts
and surrendering the original money receipt to CFSI.
5. The 16mm projection facilities can be made available
at Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai metro city areas. The projector
hire will be Rs.250/- per show excluding transport charges.
The to & fro taxi fare from CFSI office to the screening
venue and back will be borne by the film borrower.
6. The film borrower is also expected to give an alternate
choice of the film, in the eventuality of the film requested
cannot be made available due to non-availability or other
unforeseen circumstances at the eleventh hour.
