Biography
Ajoy Kumar Chakravarty
Ajoy Kumar Chakravarty A graduate
in Fine Arts from Vishwa Bharati University, Ajay
Kumar Chakravorty worked as a visualiser with Godrej
and Boyce in Bombay. Cinema became important to him
as founder-menber of Anandam Films Society. Later,
a 1949 Czechoslovakian puppet film triggered his ambition
to learn animation film making 1961 saw the first
animated puppet film to be made in India "Nanche
Munhe Sitare" directed by Chakravarty for which
he won the National Award. 1974, his film "Alibaba"
agged the same prestigious award. In 1979, Chakravarty's
animation film "Cable Lenght" won a Bronze
Antenna at the International Telecommunication Conference
Zurich. In 1982, his film "Raju and Tinku"
won another National Award. Chakravarty has made around
nine animated films based on fairy tales, mythological
themes and historical subjects.

| Synopsis
Alibab stumbles on the secret of the robbers'den where
they have stored all their gold. To take revenge,
the robber chief hides his robbers inside forty barrels
and enters his house an a guest who has been invited
to dinner. However, his plan foiled by Alibaba's son
and the beautiful Marzina.
