  Proposal for making a children's film/serial
(preliminary form for submitting two / three pages synopsis. Hindi/English)
 
  • An entry fee (non-refundable) of Rs.1000/- to be sent by Demand Draft in favour of Children's Film Society, India.
  • Proposal rejected earlier may not be submitted agian.
  • Synopsis extending beyond three pages will be strictly disqualified.
  • Entire application to be submitted in duplicate. (photography acceptable)
  • Only the Director's bio-data (maximum one page) to be attached.
  • You should normally hear from us within a period of three months of receiving your proposal.
  • In case synopsis is approved, you will have to submit a VHS cassette of your recent work and apply for Form-II in order to submit a detailed screenplay of said Project.
  • Approval of a synopsis by Script Committee does not necessarily guarantee final approval of the Project by CFSI.
  • If the Project is finally approved, the individual would be responsible to provide appropriate directorial/production management skills, and accept full responsibility as Executive Producer.
  • If the concept / story / synopsis is adopted from any Published / Unpublished Book, you will have to produce the copy of the NOC/ Agreement between Book Author / Publisher & you, while submitting the 'Form I' or confirm in writing that you will do so while submitting Form 'II' (In case the synopsis is approved).
  • CFSI will be the funding agency and all rights will be vested with CFSI. The individual will be bound by an Agreement in the capacity as the Executive Producer.
  • Kindly note that the maximum duration for a feature film to be
    considered by us is 90 minutes. No film should go beyond this time limit.
  • Those who have already made more than one film for CFSI, are not eligible for submitting a fresh Project for 5 years (from Censor date of last film).
  • Proposals are to be submitted by ONLY the Director of the said film.
  • No Project, preferably in the name of any other unit member/Proprietor of any firm, will be considered.
  • You should normally hear from us within a period of three months of receiving your proposal.
  • Decision of CFSI regarding further consideration of the proposal will be final. No further discussion or correspondence will be entered into.
