The feeling of patriotism is brought to life vividly through a little boy, who in all his innocence starts a conversation with someone whose significance is greater than his youthful understanding. The respect and love that the little boy has for this figure slowly unfolds as he declares a promise that when he comes of age, he will honour, protect and serve the nation. The film ends with the boy saluting this figure, revealing it to be the Indian flag.
