Director's Biography
Pankuj Parashar
A first class first graduate of the
Film and Television Institute in Pune. Pankaj Parashar
has very early in his career established a considerable
reputation as a television and film director. His
diploma film "Malfunction" won the Filmfare
Award for Best Documentary. He has since directed
three feature films "Ab Ayega Mazaa" (1983),
"Jalwa" (1987) and "Chaal Baaz"
(1989). In 1989, he produced and directed thirty-nine
episodes of a popular television detective series
called"Karamchand". Apart from making advertising
films, Parashar is currently involved in several projects
that cover big banner films featuring leading film
stars. Parashar run his own film production unit called
Mazaa Films.

Synopsis
A young prince is being trained for the time he will
become the king. The lonely and frustrated boy is
kept secluded while being taught high statesmanship
by experts. One day he finds a strange little man
from another planet beside him. He names his new-found
friend Trishanku. The two exchange views about their
different worlds. Trishanku is very homesick. The
two escape to find how Trishanku can return to his
planet. In the process, they deeply affect each other's
feelings, in remarkable ways.
