Director's Biography
Kantilal Rathod

A well-known painter who also trained in film animation, Kantilal Rathod was in charge of the cartoon unit of the Baptista-Vijayakar Prodution unit, Hunnar Films, Later, Rathod branched out on his own to make several interesting art and industrial films. With his first award winning feature film "Kanku" (1970). Rathod set a new trend. The film presented an objective account of a lower-middle class women's monotonous existence. His second feature "Ramnagari" followed some years later.

Synopsis

This cartoon film narrates the many escapades of a Sugar Doll while at the same time conveying the procedures involved in the production of sugar.
